Ledisi amazingly came to the store with no entourage just her and her mom and a couple street team people handing out flyers. She was real friendly and humble. When I offered to take her to the Mezz in the elevator she said "its cool we can just walk up stairs". I had all three of her albums stocked and placed, she was very happy to see that.

There were no lines so I was a little worried about the turn out, but once we turned the music on people magically started to come. Never did Ledisi say "damn, no one is here". She performed 3 songs live, she had a wonderful stage presence and command of the room.

The fans were great, they came with all three albums and a smile. Ledisi signed everything they brought and took pictures cheerfuly. She was great. Pat from Rasputin's in Berkeley said "it was one of the best in-stores at Rasputins".
