Strapping Young Lad are embarking on a U.S. Tour in support of their new album "Alien". Appearing @ the Pound in S.F.  051005

Peccatum (featuring Ihsahn of Emperor fame)will release "Lost Reverie" on The End Records, May 25th.

Meshuggah's  experimental album "Catch 33" will come out on May 31through Nuclear Blast

Drumming legend Hellhammer (Mayhem,Arcturus) will session drum for bubblegum black metal band Dimmu Borgir's new album.

Satyricon is working on material for their next album. The band managed to obtain an audio recording of the Pope's last rite. Mainman Satyr said - "We
hope to make a song based around this recording and have Phil Spector produce it."

Napalm Death members Shane Embury and Barney Greenway, along with former Carcass members  Bill Steer, Ken Owen and Jeff Walker met up to record a
track for James Murphy's (Death,Testament,Disincarnate,etc...) Death tribute album.

And finally, in fake news of the world,  as the Pope's health has taken a turn for the worse,  devout Christian Crusader Don Stewart has denounced his faith,  forming the satanic indie-rock band The Dark Lords.   The video for the smash hit single "I Am Satan." recently knocked Maroon 5 off the top of
