 
I unlike many have avoided the Bloc Party, and while I have heard their songs, I am not too big on them. I am also not a huge fan of remixes. So, for the sake of this remix, I am going to give you my opinion of this album, as it stands on its own. First, some of the mixes are a bit too artsy, they do too much with the song, and it ends up losing some of the original elements that make certain songs amazing like “Like Eating Glass”, which is remixed by Ladytron, end up sounding like they are being obscured by a techno track while the original song is playing…how annoying! The rest are remixed for a drum and bass party or something. I think the album is ok, but again I am not a huge fan of them. While some of the songs I like only in virtue of who is mixing them, like Fourtet’s version of “So Here We Are”, it is a subtly remixed song, which is not overwhelming with new elements as much as some of the other tracks. - Clara Flores
