 
Japanese kids go wild as middle-aged new wavers pound out their hits in the sweltering heat of a Tokyo summer! The crowd is so happy to Devo-lve with their heroes, they’ve brought their own energy domes and T-shirts and pogo wildly to every tune. For their part, the band do justice to their songs after 23 years and put on a great show. Some of the best moments are reserved for the interviews with Gerry Casale and Mark Mothersbaugh, especially Gerry’s encounter with a groupie on a previous tour of Japan back in the ‘80s. -- David Bassin
