 
Naglfar The black/death style hasn’t had the socket pulled just yet. Clinging to the outlet by a mere thread, Pariah functions as a sort of life support system for the dying genre. A compliment? Well, Naglfar certainly isn’t the second coming of Dissection, but this album has isn’t half bad. I guess that means it’s not half good either. Regardless, this record has its moments. Solid, if not somewhat lackluster. Cake with no frosting, please. - Andrew Andermatt
