 
Peter Gabriel re-defined the art of the music video in the ‘80s
and that fact helped to propel So to the top of the charts in 1986.
Always the innovator both musically and visually, Gabriel set the bar
a little higher with each succeeding clip and MTV was a better channel
for it. Play collects 23 videos – everything he’s done to
date and each remixed in 5.1 surround for maximum fidelity. Of course
the picture quality is superb and it’s a pleasure to see and hear
these now-classic tunes once again with vivid clarity. -- David
